Orenyx NIL Engine ("Orenyx," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of every athlete, brand, parent, coach, and agent who uses our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over your own data. By creating an account or otherwise using Orenyx, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
We protect your data, never sell your personal information, and follow NCAA-aligned privacy standards across every part of the platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the platform, and information from trusted third parties.
1.1 Account & Profile Information
Name, school, sport, graduation year, contact details, athlete or brand status, profile bio, stats, highlights, and any content you choose to add to your profile.
1.2 Deal & Transaction Information
Offer details, deliverables, negotiation history, deal status, and communications exchanged between athletes and brands through the platform.
1.3 Payment Information
Bank or payout account details, billing information, and transaction records needed to send or receive payments. Full card and bank details are processed and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processors, not on Orenyx servers.
1.4 Usage & Device Information
Log data, device type, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and actions taken on the platform, collected automatically to operate and improve the service.
1.5 Information From Third Parties
Verification data from schools or eligibility services, public social media metrics from platforms you connect (such as Instagram, TikTok, or X), and, where applicable, information shared by a parent, coach, or agent with account access.
2. How We Use Your Information
Match Athletes & Brands — To power search, discovery, and recommendation across athlete and brand profiles.
Facilitate Deals — To create, send, negotiate, and track NIL offers and deliverables.
Process Payments — To calculate fees, process payouts, and maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain Compliance Records — To log deal activity for NCAA-aligned and school compliance reporting.
Operate & Improve the Platform — To maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features.
Communicate With You — To send account, deal, payment, and compliance notifications.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the platform, complete deals, and meet legal and compliance obligations, including with:
Athletes and Brands — Profile, deal, and deliverable information necessary to complete a transaction between the parties to that deal.
Service Providers — Payment processors, identity/eligibility verification vendors, hosting providers, and analytics providers, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Schools & Compliance Offices — Deal disclosure information, where required by NCAA or institutional NIL reporting rules, or where an athlete has authorized sharing.
Parents, Coaches & Agents — Only where an athlete has granted shared access to their account.
Legal & Safety — Where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Orenyx, our users, or the public.
4. Payment Security
All payment data is processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant channels via our third-party payment processors. Orenyx does not store complete payment card numbers on its own servers.
Encryption — Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.
Access Controls — Internal access to personal data is limited to employees and contractors who need it to do their jobs.
Payment Security — All payment data is processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant channels; Orenyx does not store full card numbers.
Monitoring — We monitor the platform for suspicious activity and unauthorized access.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the platform, complete pending deals, meet compliance record-keeping obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we securely delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion — Request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal and compliance record-keeping requirements.
Portability — Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Opt-Out — Opt out of non-essential communications and, where applicable under state law, opt out of certain data sharing.

7. Children’s Privacy & Minor Athletes
Orenyx is intended for use by current college athletes, brands, and their authorized representatives. Some student-athletes may be minors under applicable state law. Where an athlete is a minor, we require parental or guardian consent before creating a profile or accepting NIL deals, and we limit the collection and use of that athlete’s data accordingly. Orenyx does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in a manner inconsistent with COPPA.
8. NCAA-Aligned Compliance Data Sharing
To help athletes and schools stay aligned with NCAA and state NIL rules, Orenyx may share deal disclosure information with a school’s compliance office, either at the athlete’s direction or where required by applicable rules. Compliance-related data sharing is limited to what is necessary for NIL oversight and reporting.
9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit some platform features.
10. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
11. International Users
Orenyx is designed for use by athletes, brands, and their representatives in the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice of material changes.
